Tanika Jellis is a Sydney based ceramic artist, inspired by the natural world, design and architecture. She pushes the boundaries of clay to create one off pieces that inhabit the space between functional and sculptural. Working predominantly with stoneware each piece is hand built placing coil upon coil until reaching a final form. Tanika considers how each piece will be used and how it will sit and interact amongst everyday objects in the home.
